Choosing a sanatorium

Check out the descriptions, photos and videos of Belarusian sanatoriums, read the recent reviews of tourists on the forum (keep in mind the subjectivity of the reviews).
For the optimal choice of the specialty of the sanatorium you should consult a doctor. And if you select the sanatorium yourself, you need to read the medical indications and contraindications for treatment in a sanatorium of certain specialty.
Pay attention to the list of services included in the price and services available for additional cost.
If you are going to a health resort with children, check out the requirements for children's age, make sure that there are children's rooms and playgrounds.

Health resorts of Belarus, as a rule, sell vouchers for 12-21 days.
If you need the overall health improvement effect, choose voucher for 12-14 days.
For a full treatment voucher for 21 or more days is recommended.
In Belarusian sanatoriums, especially in the season, it is impossible to prolong the voucher, so think in advance about the period of the treatment.

The period during which you book a voucher is not limited. However, the earlier you book the voucher (especially in periods of high demand), the more chances to choose right sanatorium.
Sanatoriums does not sell vouchers without meals.

The majority of Belarusian sanatoriums do not provide services to travelers without an outpatients card, so it is better to issue an outpatients card in your clinic.
Coming to the sanatorium without the outpatient's card, you lose at least one day of treatment (it is used for analysis and examination), and not all sanatoriums are able to do all the necessary tests (they require biochemical laboratory).
Outpatients card should be issued no more than a month ago.
According to the law, the sanatorium has the right to refuse treatment if the tourist doesn't have outpatients card.
To issue an outpatient's card it is necessary to have the results of relevant examinations and consultations of medical specialists.

Clothes and shoes suitable for the season of the year, a change of footwear (you need it in medical offices).
Entertainment programs for guests are organized in all sanatoriums of Belarus. If you are going to participate in them, you can take the smart clothes.
If there is a swimming pool in the sanatorium do not forget bathing accessories: swimsuit, swimwear, swim cap, flip-flops.

Upon arrival at the sanatorium with a purchased voucher, you need to contact the administrator of the sanatorium and give them the following documents: passport, voucher from our company, outpatients card.

The treatment in the sanatorium is prescribed according to the outpatients card.
After the initial examination by a physician, the history of health status is written in the procedural card, the prescribed treatment is also written there.
On the days of arrival and departure the procedures of overall impact are not assigned.
Medical complex is formed by the physician individually for each guest according to the main and concomitant diseases, and budget.
On the first day of the arrival at the sanatorium it is better to discuss nutrition. Typically, there are 2 types of nutrition - usual and diet.
For positive results of treatment in the sanatorium the guest should strict to the treatment prescribed by the physician. The success of treatment depends not on the number of procedures. Procedures should be taken as the physician prescribed them.

When the treatment in the sanatorium is finished, the patient is given a coupon from the outpatients card and procedural card with information about the examinations conducted in the sanatorium, the treatment and its effectiveness, the recommendations of the physician.
